Do you want to improve as a Speaker? Here’s Allah’s Gift for You!

We surely come across lots of instances where our speech is to decide our fate – whether it be a class presentation, a job interview or persuading someone in your favour.

Now a little magical help from our Lord can do wonders!! :) And that’s why Allah has Himself taught us how to ask Him for help when it comes to us wanting to improve at speaking well.

Do you remember when Prophet Musa (A.S) had to go to the Pharoah to deliver Allah’s message?

That’s when he prayed to Allah to make him successful at his task – the task of delivering the message through speech.

We are so privileged, as Prophet Muhammad (SAW)’s ummatis, that we have been presented a prayer by Allah Himself, that he had once lent to Prophet Musa (A.S) in the Quran in Surah Taha (Chapter 20) in the verses 25 to 28.

This Dua is a gift from our Lord to us!

How would you treat a gift that has been given to you by your love? Wouldn’t you want to keep it in front of you all the time? And would you find the experience of using the gift just inexplicably delightful?

Let this Dua be like that gift from your beloved and make use of it whenever you can because unlike worldly gifts this gift will not wear away and will in fact get better for you with each use… :)

I believe that Magic Does exist! Yes, I do...

Do you remember the story of Cinderalla. Poor Cinderella was this girl abused by her step family. And the thing that saved her was … magic! Her fairy god-mother’s magic!

But if happiness and hope is what magic brings, then I think I believe in magic too.

It is almost magic that I want something, I pray to someone invisible, someone I have never seen and I am helped by that Someone in getting what I want!

Be it success in an exam, a strawberry ice-cream or peace of mind that I desire, Allah, my Guide (Al-Hadi) and my Helping Friend (Al-Waliyy) makes that wish come true.

This magic is exponential times more magical than the one done by Cinderalla’s fairy god-mother for as you must remember, it had its limits. I am sure girls out there would have wished that they had such a fairy god-mother too who would help getting to their Prince Charming, or perhaps achieving something else…

Fortunately, my Muslim sisters and even brothers, already have such a source of magical help… a helping had from their Lord.

They seek beauty from Al- Mussawir, the Fashioner of Forms.

They seek love and care and get it from Al-Wadūd, the Loving

They seek security and protection and they get it unconditionally from Al-Māni', the Protector.

They pray for success in mundane as well as important things in life such as winning a gaming contest or an academic exam and they are helped by none other than Al-Fattāh, the Victory Giver.

So, YES! I believe in magic… the magic of Allah, my Helping Friend (Al-Waliyy)

Oh Allah! I love you.
